Elementary Survey

The student will be proficient in the use of advanced survey equipment and will have understanding of elementary survey principles with limited supervision. The student will also be in a position to write and pass the Elementary Survey exam.

Course Description

This course follows the basic elementary survey course where students gain knowledge to additional survey equipment these include total station and levelling equipment. Decline, incline and flat grades will be calculated and applied practically. Other calculations will include the calculations of volumes, tonnes, joins and bearings.
